BECOME A SCORE VOLUNTEER

Join the team of Peoria, IL, Chapter 0090 professionals who are willing to share their real-world knowledge with aspiring entrepreneurs and established small business owners. As a member of SCORE, you’ll be part of a nationally recognized association.

Founded in 1964 by the U.S. Small Business Administration, today there are over 13,000 volunteer counselors in 364 chapters in the United States. Local chapters provide free mentoring and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors.

The Peoria Chapter has counseled thousands of clients. Gain the personal satisfaction of helping others to achieve their dreams by offering your knowledge and skill in business. Small Business benefits the Peoria Area Region.

You will receive special training and mentoring, augmented by monthly meetings with our group of over 25 counselors and participation in our seminars on “How to Successfully Start a Business”. You will find it stimulating and interesting to work with the aspiring entrepreneurs of our community.

Volunteer responsibilities include: Individual and team mentoring of new and existing businesses. Also sharing your knowledge at SCORE’S entrepreneurial training seminars & workshops.
