Numero Publishing, Inc. finds success with help 
from the Peoria Chapter 90 SCORE office.

Dennis Slape and Diane Mitzelfelt owners and publishers of Numero Magazine publish a monthly magazine featuring a fresh take on local life revealing the interesting people, places, and phenomena that make the Peoria area a great place to live and work. Together they turned an idea, and SCORE counseling services expertise and advice to grow Numero magazine into a thriving locally owned publishing business. 

Diane says, “When Dennis and I met with the SCORE counsel members we presented them with our business plan, financial projections and ideas.  The SCORE members took a critical look at our ideas and plans and assisted us in focusing on prioritizing our time and resources to make the magazines launch a success.  They advised us on numerous areas involved in publishing a monthly magazine such as distribution and advertising and also kept our growth and future focused in our plans.”
